To have MetaEditor running, I have the following DLL's copied from Windows XP to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32:
dwmapi.dll
imm32.dll
iphlpapi.dll
jscript.dll
lz32.dll
mfc40.dll
mfc42.dll
midimap.dll
mpr.dll
msacm.dll
msacm32.dll
msimg32.dll
t2embed.dll
usp10.dll
uxtheme.dll


And wingding.ttf installed on the wine ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts folder.
MetaTrader > 4.x

tips using unbuntu

When wine is properly installed a windows application can be opened by the following:
1)Click on Applications
2)Selecting Wine
3)Browse C:Drive
4)Go To Program Files Where The program is installed.
5)Open the folder of the program to open
6)Right-Click executable file of the application and
select "Open with Wine Windows Program Loader".

If the program hasn't been installed with wine:
